Role Summary You’re not “advising” — you’re selling over the phone. Your job is to convert leads into paying customers using calls, follow-ups, and persuasion. If you can’t handle rejection daily, this role will break you. Key Responsibilities Call potential and existing customers to pitch products/services Understand customer needs and push the right product (not random selling) Handle objections and close deals on call Follow up aggressively on leads (this is where most sales actually happen) Maintain call logs, CRM updates, and pipeline tracking Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding or delivery Required Skills (Non-Negotiable):- Strong communication (English + regional language is a huge advantage) Persuasion and negotiation skills Ability to handle rejection without losing momentum Basic CRM / Excel knowledge Listening skills (most people talk too much and lose the sale) Preferred Qualifications:- Any degree (doesn’t matter much if you can sell) 0–3 years in telesales / inside sales / customer handling

Required Skills

1. Communication Clarity If your message is confusing you lose the sale. Simple as that. Speak clearly no over-explaining Get to the point fast 2. Active Listening Most salespeople talk too much and miss buying signals. Listen for pain points Don’t interrupt Respond based on what THEY say not your script 3. Persuasion & Convincing Ability You’re not informing — you’re influencing decisions. Use logic + emotion Show value not features Create urgency without sounding desperate 4. Objection Handling This is where deals are won or lost. “Too expensive” → justify value “Not interested” → reframe problem Stay calm don’t argue like an idiot 5. Closing Skills If you can’t ask for the sale you’re useless in this role. Ask direct closing questions Give options (not yes/no) Know when to push and when to stop 6. Follow-up Discipline Most sales happen after 2–5 follow-ups. People who don’t follow up are just wasting leads. Track leads properly Call back on time Stay consistent Support Skills (Still Important) 7. Basic CRM / Data Handling If you don’t track you don’t grow. Update leads Track conversion Maintain pipeline 8. Time & Target Management You’re judged on numbers not effort. Prioritize hot leads Manage call time Hit daily targets
