Gandhi Old Age Home is a registered voluntary organisation dedicated to giving abandoned, bedridden, and destitute senior citizens a safe, nurturing, and dignified place to live. Founded in 2001 by Ugraiah C. under the Gandhi Education Society, it is officially registered with the Physically Handicapped & Senior Citizens Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka. Entirely donor-funded, the home relies on the generosity of individuals, corporates, and CSR partners to sustain its life-changing work.

Over more than two decades of service, Gandhi Old Age Home has grown into a trusted institution in Bengaluru, currently housing 100 residents — 50 men and 50 women — all above the age of 50 who have no family support. A dedicated team of 15 staff members works around the clock to ensure every resident is cared for with warmth, respect, and professionalism.
